1981 Porsche 911 SC

Very clean and fun 1981 911SC Targa in Guards Red over Beige Partial Leather interior. The car came to us from a local client that preserved the Targa very well by driving it fewer than 25,000 miles during ownership and having it maintained by reputable service centers in the greater Denver area.

This 911 was produced in early 1981 and retains its original engine and transmission the car was delivered with. During a previous ownership the car had been repainted in its original Guards Red color and the interior appears to have remained original which shows clean. The Targa top had also been recovered during a previous ownership and fits the car well. The overall condition of the exterior paint is fair to good with few areas showing minimal wear and areas of scratch repair being performed on the driver door and both front fenders.

Our Factory Trained Porsche Classic Technicians have performed our comprehensive pre-owned inspection to ensure the 911 is ready for its next owner. During the inspection process the engine warmup regulator was refitted and tested, the engine idle was adjusted, front decklid struts were replaced, the front wheel bearings were cleaned, repacked, and adjusted, the engine fan belt was replaced, the two year brake system fluid flush was performed, and the transmission drain plug was resealed. We also replaced the previously installed aftermarket radio with a Continental head unit made to fit Classic 911's.

The 911 drives very well with ample amounts of power thru-ought the rev range and the 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly into all gears with a good clutch pedal feel. The car comes with tool kit, jack, collapsible spare tire, compressor, additional fan belt, copies of various documents provided by the previous owner along with an outdoor car cover.
