The 99X Electric is giving the company a chance to return to formula racing for the first time in more than three decades.

Taycan 4S Highlights

The Taycan 4S, as you likely know by now, is the third instance of the brand-new electric sports car’s lineup of trim levels. The vehicle comes standard with a single-deck Performance Battery with a capacity of 79.2 kWh, which allows the vehicle to generate up to 523 horsepower. Alternatively, shoppers will be able to opt for the available two-deck Performance Battery Plus to increase capacity up to 93.4 kWh and horsepower to 563 hp. Regardless, the vehicle can get from 0-62 mph in 4 seconds flat.

Macan Turbo Highlights

As you may recall, the Macan Turbo is all-new for the upcoming model year as well, offering a new powertrain. The new engine is a 2.9L 6-cylinder biturbo capable of generating 434 horsepower. Shoppers will be able to opt for the available Sport Chrono package, which enhances the vehicle’s 0-60 mph time by 0.3 seconds to 4.3 s.

99X Highlights

The 99X electric sports car is just one representation of the plans Mission E strategy, which is part of the Porsche Strategy 2025 plan. It will permit the company to have a presence in the 2019/2020 ABB FIA Formula E Championship series, with the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team having their first two races on November 22nd & 23rd.
