It’s a sad fact of life that some roads aren’t paved as well as we’d like them to be. If you’ve hit one too many potholes, it may be time to get your wheels looked at. There are a few different signs that can tell you it’s time for a wheel alignment. The first is if your vehicle pulls left or right when you let go of the steering wheel. It should stay relatively straight, at least for a few seconds, if the wheels are properly aligned. If you need to crank the wheel so it’s crooked in order to keep the wheels straight, there’s a good chance the wheels are unaligned. Uneven tire wear can also be an indicator.

The general rule of thumb is to get your wheels checked every 6,000 miles, just in case you miss any of the above indicators.
