2021 Porsche Panamera Updates and New Features
Porsche has taken the curtain off of the updated 2021 Porsche Panamera, unveiling what enthusiasts have been waiting for. Nearly every model in this Porsche vehicle’s lineup is bringing something new to the table for 2021, making each variant that much more exciting.

2021 Panamera Brings Overhauled Engine
Porsche has revised the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine found in the Panamera to now make 620 horsepower and 604 pound-feet of torque. This engine is fitted in the Panamera Turbo S model and offers an increase of 70 horsepower and 37 pound-feet of torque over last year’s model.
With this engine in place, the Panamera Turbo S and Sport Turismo can launch from zero to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, an increase of 0.5 seconds from previous models.
Hybrid Porsche Panamera
Porsche is expanding its lineup of hybrid model options for 2021, now offering a plug-in Panamera hybrid model option called the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid. This hybrid variant is powered by an electric motor paired to a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine to deliver 552 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. Panamera 4S E-Hybrid models will be able to hit a top track speed of 185 mph and take off from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds using Launch Control.
2021 Panamera Enhances Style
The new generation of Porsche Panamera models is bringing enhanced style options and features. A SportDesign front fascia is now standard on all Panamera models and a SportDesign package will also be available as an upgrade. The rear of the car is fitted with a continuous light strip that connects both taillights. Two new 21-inch wheel designs and a new 20-inch wheel design are available for the 2021 Porsche Panamera.
A newly-designed multifunction Sport steering wheel with shift paddles has been added to the Panamera. The Panamera and Panamera 4S E-Hybrid feature 8-way electrically adjustable comfort seats and the Turbo S is equipped with 14-way electrically adjustable comfort seats. Porsche Panamera GTS models offer optimal comfort with 18-way electrically adjustable sport seats, which are available as add-on options for the rest of the Panamera lineup.
